            A Cuba man has been charged with felonies in three separate cases in the past month.

Students at Cuba Elementary School show off the February Book Buddy books recently donated to the school library by the Cuba Kiwanis as part of Three Rivers Publishing’s Newspapers In Education program.

Cuba High School wins GVC Art Show

             Area high school artists submitted works to be judged for the Gasconade Valley Conference annual Art Show currently on display at Gallery Zeke in Steelville. The show is now open and will be available for viewing until April 27. The gallery hours are Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is located at 110 East Main Street.

Old police generator repurposed for city use

            The St. James Street Department has taken an old police generator and repurposed it as a mobile unit. The generator had been stored at the police station, but was not large enough to provide emergency power to the station and has now been converted so it can help with other city projects.

Cuba License Office contract up for bid

The Missouri Department of Revenue is announcing the upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) of the license office in in Cuba, Missouri, located at 501 S Franklin, Cuba, Mo., 65453.  Bids will start being accepted April 10, and must be submitted by April 23.
